Rythme covers musical rhythm, pace of work (à ce rythme — 'at this rate'), and biological rhythms (rythme cardiaque — heart rate). The adjective rythmé(e) means 'rhythmic'. Note that the final -e is silent and the word is pronounced as a near-monosyllable.
