upcoming
Usage Note
Prochain (feminine: prochaine) placed before the noun means 'next' in a sequence (la prochaine fois — 'next time'); placed after a time noun it can mean 'coming up' (lundi prochain — 'next Monday'). The position rule is the opposite of English intuition and is a common learner error. The noun le prochain means 'one's neighbour' in a moral sense.
