Usage Note
Pharaon entered French via Latin pharao and Greek pharaō, ultimately from ancient Egyptian pr-ʿ3 ('great house'). The adjective pharaonique means 'pharaonic', i.e. gigantic or grandiose in scale.

Natural Translation
