Usage Note
Oeil has the highly irregular plural yeux, which learners must simply memorize. The expression coûter les yeux de la tête means to cost an arm and a leg (literally 'to cost the eyes from one's head'). Avoir l'oeil means to have a sharp eye, and faire de l'oeil à quelqu'un means to wink at or flirt with someone.
