Usage Note
Interlocuteur refers to the person one is speaking or negotiating with. In diplomatic and journalistic French it is very common: mon interlocuteur simply means 'the person I was talking to'. The feminine is interlocutrice. The plural interlocuteurs is used in group dialogue contexts.
