Gi (also written kimono in some French martial-arts contexts) refers to the traditional two-piece uniform worn in judo, karate, and related disciplines. It is an invariable masculine noun in French. The seed tagged it as an adverb, but it functions as a noun: le gi blanc (the white gi).
