Usage Note
Exilé is both a noun ('an exile', a person forced or choosing to live outside their homeland) and an adjective ('exiled'). The verb is exiler and the abstract noun is exil. Feminine: exilée. The phrase en exil is common: vivre en exil means 'to live in exile'.
