Coquet has two distinct uses: applied to a person it means flirtatious or vain about one's appearance; applied to a place or home it means charming and neatly presented, as in un appartement coquet ('a neat little flat'). The feminine form is coquette, which also functions as a standalone noun for a flirtatious woman.
