Also means
tease, pull someone's leg
Usage Note
Charrier literally describes a river or current carrying material downstream — le fleuve charrie des débris. In informal speech it shifts to mean mocking or taking things too far: tu charries! means 'you're going too far!' or 'you're taking the mickey!' It is very colloquial in this second sense and typical of informal Parisian French.
Examples
"Tu charries un peu, non?"
Natural Translation
You're going a bit far, aren't you?
